Webcomics ahoy!
I’m a fan of webcomics. Which Firefox thinks is spelled incorrectly. Well, the joke is on you, Firefox! Webcomics, yes. I’m a fan. And since I discovered not one, not two, not three, but four (4) (!) good webcomics this week (getting all twitchy, Firefox? Lots of red squiggles on the screen), I thought I’d share the ones I read on a regular basis. I read most if not all of these through my Google Reader, which I highly recommend if you’re in the market for an RSS reader. I like that it’s web-based to I can access it anywhere. It has awesome keyboard shortcuts, too.
Every now and again I think about trying to start a comic. But then I realize that I don’t have the artistic ability to draw people or anthropomorphic animals. Nor do I have a story or a character, nor the patience to keep up with it. I mean, look at my blogging history. That said, I do appreciate what the artists and writers of these webcomics do on a regular basis, and laud their efforts. (You should laud them too. Go on, make with the lauding.)

(Er, I was going to write a little something about each but I didn’t think I could say anything that would be any better than actually going to the site and reading them. Plus, it’ll be a little surprise.)
I believe that, if you’ve never read any of these, and you like them all and want to start from the beginning of each, you might want to block off a month or so for reading. Some of them go waaaay back. They’re really good though, and it’d be time well spent in my opinion. And if you have any that you love and read regularly, let me know. I’m always on the lookout for more webcomics. (Screw you Firefox, it’s spelled correctly!)
